In a society laden with non-profit organizations and volunteer projects, we think it’s imperative to state plainly who we are and what we stand for.  Why we exist…and what fuels our passion for this project.

Why books?

It has long been a deeply rooted truth that words, well-placed and intently read, are the ties that bind families, communities, and nations.  Mother and child are united over the reading of a single page.  Friends grow closer as they share their favorite prose.  Likewise, our children share their blessed books with strangers and…suddenly…they share an experience.  Two children…separated by an ocean and firm cultural lines…are united over the pinnacle of community and growth.
